Sprinno Terms & Conditions

Welcome to Sprinno, a contest-based software innovation platform connecting enterprises, startups, agencies, and developers to create and accelerate software solutions through contests and hackathons. These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your access and use of the Sprinno platform (the "Platform"). By accessing, browsing, or registering for the Platform, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree with any part of the Terms, please do not use the Platform.

• Age Requirement: You must be at least 18 years old to create an account or participate in contests on Sprinno.
• Account Responsibility: You are responsible for safeguarding the login credentials you use to access your account on the Platform. You agree not to disclose your password to any third party and to notify Sprinno immediately if your password is lost, stolen, or compromised. You are liable for any actions taken under your account, whether authorized or unauthorized.

Prohibited Uses:

You agree not to misuse the Platform in any way, including:

• Engaging in fraudulent or illegal activities.
• Distributing viruses, malware, or other harmful software.
• Spamming or harassing other users.
• Violating the intellectual property rights of others.
• Using automated systems (e.g., bots, scripts) to access the Platform.

Compliance with Contest Rules:

When participating in any contest or challenge on Sprinno, you must comply with all contest-specific rules, deadlines, and submission guidelines.

Platform Content:

The content provided by Sprinno, including but not limited to logos, trademarks, designs, and the Platform's functionality, is protected by intellectual property laws. You agree not to copy, reproduce, or distribute any portion of the Platform without prior written consent from Sprinno.

User Submissions:

By submitting any content (including but not limited to code, designs, and presentations) as part of a contest, you retain the ownership of your intellectual property unless otherwise specified in the contest rules. However, you grant Sprinno and the contest sponsor a non-exclusive, royalty-free, transferable license to use, display, and distribute your submission as needed for the purpose of judging and contest promotion.

• Participation Fees: Some contests or challenges may require an entry fee. Fees are disclosed on the specific contest page, and you agree to pay any required fees before submitting your entry.
• Refund Policy: Entry fees are generally non-refundable. In special cases, such as a contest being canceled, refunds may be issued at the discretion of Sprinno.
• Payment Processing: Payments on the Platform are processed through third-party services. By making a payment, you agree to the terms and conditions of the payment processor and understand that Sprinno is not responsible for any errors or issues arising from the payment processing service.

• Selection of Winners: Contest winners are selected based on specific criteria outlined in the contest details. Sprinno reserves the right to disqualify entries that violate contest rules or exhibit unfair practices.
• Prize Distribution: Prizes for contests will be distributed within the timeline specified in the contest. Sprinno is not responsible for delays caused by external factors, such as payment processing delays or incomplete account details provided by winners.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Sprinno is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from:

• Your use of or inability to use the Platform.
• Unauthorized access to or alteration of your data.
• Any delay, suspension, or termination of the Platform.

Sprinno reserves the right to terminate or suspend your account and access to the Platform at any time, with or without cause, including if you violate these Terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws of Rwanda. Any legal disputes must be resolved through binding arbitration in [Jurisdiction], unless otherwise agreed upon in writing by both parties.

Sprinno reserves the right to amend these Terms at any time. We will notify users of any significant changes via email or a prominent notice on the Platform. Continued use of the Platform after changes have been made constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
